The Story Behind
Grounded in Simplicity

We started this podcast because we saw a need for more intentionality and simplicity in the lives of women. Too often, we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget what truly matters.

Our hope is that through this podcast, we can provide women with the resources they need to pursue their passions, connect with loved ones, and create a life they love.

She owns and operates a 5-acre homestead in Central Florida, raising chickens, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, rabbits, goats, pigs, and horses.

Bonnie Von Dohre - host of the Grounded in Simplicity Podcast

Danielle is passionate about helping women connect with nature and slow down by teaching them how to grow their own food, cook simple meals from scratch, and preserve what they grow.

She believes that all women have the right to feel fulfilled, connected, and grounded. When we slow down, we’re able to connect more deeply with ourselves and our surroundings.

Danielle lives in rural Indiana with her husband, three daughters, garden, and a menagerie of farm animals.
